Our Wedding

I Got My Invitation, Now What?Just follow what it says. The magnet is just an easier way of holding onto the invitations, and to have with on the day of. The magnet is just the shorten invitations with all the key points on there like where to RSVP, the website for questions, and a map for directions to the house. If you just type the address in you'll get to the road, but it will take you to a different house.

WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY?June 5, 2026 is the cut off, and need EVERYONE to respond whether a guest, parent, or part of the wedding party. This helps us keep count of everything. We need to have our final head count a month before the date for all our venders. There is not an option to RSVP a maybe. If you aren't sure about coming talk to us and we can help figure out the best response. We understand that life happens and things come up, so if you need to change your response after the deadline, please reach out to us ASAP. Even if you are not coming, please respond. If you choose not to respond one way or another, then we are going to take that answer as not coming. We must have a head count for the caterer and other vendors, and a late response could result in a plate of food not being available for you or running out of alcohol (and no one wants that!!). If you choose not to respond and then show up, well we're happy you came but we will not have food for you. Be respectful of those that did respond and do not get food, you would be taking a meal from someone else. If it turns out that we have leftovers, (those that said yes and then didn't come), then we'd be happy to let you eat, but do not count on that we are not going to order extra meals or give out seconds. Remember an RSVP isn't just for food. It's also a head count for us to be able to account for everything.

IS THERE PARKING?There will be parking and signs. Parking will be in the backyard, follow signs. With small parking just remember you will get blocked in so if you are looking to leave and are blocked in. Please don't be an ass and throw a fit. Let us know and we will help you locate peeps and things can go smoothly then.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?Arriving no more than 30 minutes early is a great idea to be sure you're able to find the place, park, and get settled in before the ceremony begins. Please don't show up any earlier as there will be lots going on to get ready and we don't want guests to be in the way. If you're a plus one/date to someone in the wedding we ask you to not come with them, as they will need to be there early and will be busy and won't be able to have you with them and no place for you to wait comfortably, and the bar will not be open. Please make arrangements with others that are in the same boat to make things run easier, and to share rides.

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE/DATE?We want to keep our wedding intimate with close family and friends. This is our home so space is small, and we are trying to keep costs down so we will not be able to accommodate everyone having a plus one. Your invitation will have more details about the number of people in your party.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?This is at our house and the ground is a bit uneven, so dress appropriately our house and garage will not be open for guest to use. This will be outside in the middle of July so be mindful of the weather. We just ask to be casual but nicely, think Sunday Best. No PJs, bathing suits, or birthday suits will be allowed. Dress nice but not to the nines, and not slutty (we don't need things playing peek-a-boo or coming out all together), and don't show up sloppy/dirty/torn up either it is still a wedding after all. Wedding colors are purple, and orange so please don't wear those colors and of course no white.

ARE KIDS INVITED?We love your kiddos as you no, but we are asking guests to refrain from bringing their kids unless otherwise stated on the invitation. We don't want any kids to get lost or hurt, and our road can be a busy. It's also a great time for the parents to have a night off and not have to worry about what their kids are getting into.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?We love dogs as you know, however, this event is not the time or place. We have our own babies that will be there and don't need to worry about how your dog will behave round our dogs and guests. Plus no one wants to step in a big, smelly, steamy surprise. So please leave pets at home. If you bring your pet or leave them in the car, we will have you leave. That's not how we treat pets, and will be too hot for them to be left in the car.

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?Yes! The drinks are on us, and the hangover is on you! Please drink responsibly!! Our bartenders will make ANY and ALL decisions to serve or not to serve someone and they will be checking IDs, so remember to bring that. Our bartenders are human and working a job and deserve respect, so please be respectful to them and the job they’re doing or don't drink. We ask that you please please tip the bartenders they are working and being paid but this job is no different than any other and deserves tips, especially for dealing with all of us all night. Please tip!

HOW DO I GET THERE?Your invitation will have a QR Code for directions there. Please don't call the day of the wedding to ask for directions as it's our wedding day and we will be very occupied and will not be answering any phone calls or texts. Plan ahead, if you need more information than what is provided please get ahold of us before the big day and we will be happy to help.

CAN I TAKE PICTURE AND POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA?We would love it if our guest could enjoy the time with us without their electronics, but we understand if you want to take pictures and videos. Please be respectful during the ceremony though, and don't disturb us or others around you, and whatever you do, don't get in our photographers’ way. We are paying her for a job and would hate to have a missed opportunity of a memory because someone was in the way. As for posting on social media it's your page and you may do as you like, all we ask is that you tag us so we may enjoy them too. We will have QR code at the wedding, (and to take home to do later), that you will be able to scan and upload pictures and videos to share with us, and we hope you use it so we can enjoy them as well. One photographer can only capture so many things, and we would love to see things from our guest view as well.

COMING FROM OUT OF TOWN, WHERE SHOULD I STAY?If you are traveling, please look round our area for a place to stay. We cannot book rooms for you so please plan ahead if you’re staying, but if you need help looking for places please reach out to us, and we will help you get a list of some places for you to look into.

Q + A

Our story starts like a typical story. We meet on July 4th, 2020 at a party. Both of us were in serious relationship with other people at the time and we all quickly became friends. As the years went on the relationships we were in came and gone but the friendship always stayed, and grew. Having the same friend circle we were always hanging out, going to parties, concerts, events, and bike trips.On March 4th, 2023 we went on our first date. Of course we did dinner and drinks, but the best part was ax throwing.Ax throwing became something we do often, along with a trip to Vegas, and many, many concerts.On June 7th, 2024 we got engaged on our way to the 4th Annual Mackinaw Bike Rally. We had gone every year and just like our story; we went as friends, then dating, and then engaged.

As the oldest son, we knew we couldn't do this day without him. Mom and son have gone thru the last 17 years together and this is no different for this young man.
